BUGS Friend or Foe???

Be prepared to learn all about some good & bad BUGS during our Hands-on experience with Becky from the USDA, Silvia Messmer our Secretary, and a few others (hoping a Entomologist will be here).

One thing Becky will be talking about is the yellow tags that hang on the citrus trees around Arizona. Their goal is to protect the county's citrus supply through early detection of economically damaging citrus diseases. There will be handy dandy handout for you to take home as well as seeds, plant cuttings, and a few plants to take home to your garden for planting.

WHEN: Sunday 15th, November

WHERE: The "city farm" homestead headquarters

1438 North 66th Place, Mesa, AZ U.S.A.

TIME: 10 am-12 pm. Fee: $5.00 per person, or for a family of 4 $15.00 donation. Please note that we can't watch or will be responsible for your children so if a parent or guardian can't make it, please ask if a friend can be available to chaperon.
